” Il comandamento più grande “.
Da sempre, già nella prima Alleanza dell’Esodo – ‘Io sono il tuo Dio che ti ha fatto uscire dall’Egitto… io ti prenderò come mio popolo e diventerò il vostro Dio’. -, come nell’annuncio della nuova Alleanza di Gesù : il primo e più grande comandamento, – ‘ Amerai il Signore Dio con tutto il cuore… – il secondo simile al primo – il prossimo tuo come te stesso -‘.
L’amore è il cuore pulsante della rivelazione di Dio ( Dio è amore ). Esso però non rimane astratto ma trova manifestazione e credibilità nella manifestazione dell’amore del prossimo, specialmente nel confronto degli ultimi, piccoli, umili e poveri.
Grazie Gesù del tuo amore che ci doni, in Te e con te, al Padre ed al tuo Santo Spirito… e non dimentichi di abbracciare nel tuo amore anche la nostra povera umanità .

“The Greatest Commandment”.
Always, already in the first Covenant of the Exodus – ‘I am your God who brought you out of Egypt… I will take you as my people and I will become your God’. -, as in the announcement of the new Covenant of Jesus: the first and greatest commandment, – ‘You shall love the Lord God with all your heart… – the second similar to the first – your neighbor as yourself -‘.
Love is the beating heart of God’s revelation (God is love). However, it does not remain abstract but finds manifestation and credibility in the manifestation of love for one’s neighbor, especially in relation to the least, the small, the humble and the poor.
Thank you Jesus for your love that you give us, in You and with You, to the Father and to your Holy Spirit… and don’t forget to embrace our poor humanity in your love too.

“El mandamiento más grande”.
Siempre, ya en la primera Alianza del Éxodo: ‘Yo soy vuestro Dios que os saqué de Egipto… os tomaré por mi pueblo y seré vuestro Dios’. -, como en el anuncio de la nueva Alianza de Jesús: el primer y mayor mandamiento, – ‘Amarás al Señor Dios con todo tu corazón… – el segundo semejante al primero – a tu prójimo como a ti mismo -‘.
El amor es el corazón palpitante de la revelación de Dios (Dios es amor). Sin embargo, no se queda en lo abstracto, sino que encuentra manifestación y credibilidad en la manifestación del amor al prójimo, especialmente en relación con los últimos, los pequeños, los humildes y los pobres.
Gracias Jesús por el amor que nos das, en Ti y contigo, al Padre y a tu Espíritu Santo… y no olvides abrazar también en tu amor a nuestra pobre humanidad.
